Fluid Tail is a simple log monitoring agent software. The software is very light weight and installs via a Windows Service. This allows full real time monitoring of line increment log data before triggering them into notification actions. The current version of notification consists of Windows event log entry and email. It not only provides a platform for notification, it also functions as a gateway for third party enterprise event monitoring software to collect important events for their analysis. The software monitoring mechansim is solely based on line increment watching concept and thus possible to cater to most log format. |
